What Happened to “Just Julie” and Ed Tech Rambles?

As we grow and change, so does our web presence. In an effort to simplify my life, I have redesigned this domain so that it reflects my current position as a small business web consultant…. but I have also retained all my ‘old’ educational technology information on this site. I am working on recategorizing posts so that they can easily be found. In the meantime, if you are looking for something in particular, please use the search box.

At present, I am educating three of my four children at home while launching this new business venture. My hope is that my experience as an educational technologist will really allow me to help educate business owners in how to harness the power of the web and social media to help their business succeed…. sounds a lot like education, doesn’t it? As educators, we want to harness the power of the web and connected learning to help our students succeed. It really is the same thing, just for a different demographic.

I’m obviously still heavily into the world of education, but focusing on my own not-so-little people and letting them be my alternative learning guinea pigs. It looks and feels very different than the standardized, testing based stuff that is happening in public schools.

I’m still here, and love to hear how my friends in the interwebs are doing! Feel free to contact me if you want to catch up or have questions. From here on out, the content of this site will reflect a new focus on small business web and social media tips… which do pertain to connected learning. You’ll need to decide if that is still helpful in your learning journey.
